Maya Parthasarathy (she/her) is deputy director of production & copyediting for POLITICO. She contributes to Women Rule and is an alum of many other newsletters, including Afternoon Energy, California Playbook and Morning Agriculture.

Maya, who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in journalism and political science. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her cat Rajah.
