Emma Peterson is a Business Development Associate for POLITICO Pro. Prior to joining the Pro team she worked at ActionAid USA, supporting the policy team to coordinate reports on land grabs, land tenure and biofuels. She has also worked with CSPI’s Food Day Campaign, performing outreach and coordinating events in eight states across the country to celebrate real food and improve food policies.

Originally from Reading, Mass., Peterson graduated from American University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Promotion. While at American, she served as President of the honor fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi, as well as taking on a leadership role with the University College program. She has been living in D.C. for the past 5 years and is excited to join the Pro team.
