Eliza Collins is a reporter for POLITICO. Prior to joining POLITICO Collins was a regular contributor to both USA TODAY and USA TODAY College where she wrote about a range of topics. She has interned for USA TODAY twice, on both the breaking news and video desks.

Collins graduated from University of Oregon in 2014 with a double major in Journalism and Mandarin Chinese. She worked as the digital managing editor of the college newspaper, The Emerald.

Collins is from Phoenix, Ariz. In her free time she drinks coffee, does yoga and plans her next big adventure.
