Cory Bennett is a deputy editor for POLITICO, helping oversee the publication’s national security, White House and international coverage. Formerly, Cory was POLITICO’s cybersecurity editor, running the publication’s coverage of digital security policy on Capitol Hill and in the Trump administration.
Over the past several years, Cory has covered cybersecurity, national security and online privacy for multiple publications, including The Hill, Communications Daily and National Journal.
Cory earned an undergraduate degree in government from Cornell University and later completed a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. He is originally from Chicago.
