Katie Jennings

Katie Jennings is a reporter for POLITICO New Jersey. She writes about policy and politics with a focus on health care.

Previously, she worked with a team from Columbia Journalism School on a year-long investigation into ExxonMobil’s internal climate change knowledge, which was published in collaboration with the Los Angeles Times in 2015. Her investigation into a secretive committee convened by the American Medical Association that helps determine how much Medicare should pay doctors was published in POLITICO Magazine in 2014. She has also written about health care for Business Insider and POLITICO New York.

She received a Masters of Arts from Columbia Journalism School, where she was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow in science and health reporting. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
