Jennifer Haberkorn is the deputy White House editor at POLITICO.

Before turning to editing in 2024, she reported on policy and politics in Washington for nearly two decades.

She rejoined Politico in early 2023 to write about the relationship between the White House and Capitol Hill after spending nearly five years reporting on Congress for the Los Angeles Times. In her first stint at Politico, from 2010 to 2018, Haberkorn covered the Affordable Care Act and abortion policy. Her first reporting job in Washington was covering local business news for the Washington Times.

Haberkorn grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis.
