Adam Cancryn is a White House correspondent for POLITICO, with a focus on health, the economy and other domestic priorities.

Prior to joining the White House team in 2022, he spent five years covering major health care issues on Capitol Hill and across two presidential administrations. Adam was also the co-author of Pulse, POLITICO’s must-read morning health care newsletter.

He began his career as a business reporter for S&P Global Market Intelligence, and is a graduate of Washington & Lee University.
